This is an amazing store. They offer a wide variety of items and choices. Their fish section is great. They have a hot food section with a lot of choices, the grilled vegtables are very good. You have plenty of free parking and although it's crowded, they have alot of cashiers and two self-check out sections.

Clean and crowded (weekend) grocery store. Plenty of variety of groceries (vegan, organic, fresh meats, etc). Download the app for extra coupons & savings. Lines are quick as plenty of cashiers are open. Customer service is great - they accidentally charged me for two strawberries when I only bought one and gave no hassle for returning the money. Definitely recommend as your local grocery store!

This shoprite has great prices on water, they have coffee fresh Bakery, sushi fish cold cuts,fresh, fresh fruit people that work there are so very nice to the customers an this shoprite is great for community.i am currently enjoying this shoprite.

Before Wegmans became my go-to supermarket, I used to frequent the Fairway Market in Pelham. While I had not been there in a few years, I always thought it was one of the better supermarkets in the area. That being said, I was a little surprised to learned that they recently closed their doors and were replaced by a ShopRite. I'm not a big ShopRite fan, but I was in the area and needed a few things, so I thought I would stop in and check it out. This ShopRite is technically located in Pelham (hence "of Westchester"), but is literally on the NYC border (the IHOP across the street has a Bronx address). The supermarket is huge - as you enter you're greeted by the produce and specialty food section that one typically sees in supermarkets now, followed by the aisles that stock the standard groceries. They have a pretty good selection - gone is the expanded international selections Fairway had, but in most cases you'll find what you need. I really liked how they arranged everything to make the market seem super spacious. Even though I was there on a Saturday, one week before Christmas, I didn't have any trouble navigating. They also refreshed all of the aesthetics which was needed as Fairway was getting pretty tired looking (even a few years ago). This may seem like a minute detail, but I really loved how they modernized the price tags on the shelves - it looks like they're all updated electronically now which looks much cleaner and probably saves the store a lot of labor time that can be allocated elsewhere. Customer service was good, and overall I had a pleasant first experience at this ShopRite. There are other supermarkets closer to me so this won't be my go-to, but it's nice to know that there's a solid supermarket to serve Pelham and the Bronx.
